Just found 5 of these in a new pollinator garden in Lancaster PA at a non profit. The entire body is covered in a dense layer of shiny black, thick, bristly setae. Just saw one walking across my driveway towards the milkweed I let run a little rampant in my front garden , trying to help out the Monarchs here in Massachusetts.
